“There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.” - Hunter S. Thompson
Humans versus Mutants versus Other Mutants. It's been that way ever since mutants were discovered, and will probably never stop. They want them to disappear, they want them to experiment on, they want the impossible from them. The mutants have been in hiding, so to speak, and feel like they will never stop being persecuted for something they had no control over. Something that's simply in thier blood from the day they were born for some of them, and something that was the result of another situation they were thrown into for the rest. It's a never ending loop of hatred, bigotry, and shame for every nation, especially the US; New York in particular, where most mutants reside.
Some humans, though, have reported to see the error in thier ways and have started supporting the mutants, saying that they can't help how they are and need love and support like everyone else. The mutants, pleasantly surprised at this turn of events, have forgiven those who have apologized and have started making amends themselves. Those who have not given in to their pride and continue to dislike the mutants have now chosen to side with the 'evil' mutants, such as Magneto and Mystique, saying any cause they're for, the remaining humans are against (even if it is taking out humanity itself).
What will it all come down to in the end? Will good truly win out over evil, or will the wars persist, bringing about the end of days and possibly the end of humanity? Only one thing is for certain: something has to be done and it has to be done now.
